about

Creating and especially releasing this album has been quite a cathartic experience. I was diagnosed with two bad discs in my lower back several years ago, and now live daily with chronic pain. All of this music was written as a means of coping. It is what I would call selfish music - music written with no other intention than to make myself feel better. For this reason, I am releasing the album for free.

Through the compiling, and especially sharing of this music, I have been able to move past a grieving process that is common with chronic pain. Each track represents a portion of the varied emotions and experiences I have gone through and continue to experience on a daily basis. Depression, frustration, sorrow are there, also confusion, anger, and even relief. By sharing this with the world, I have been able to let go of many of these feelings and progress forward, both as a musician, and also as a human being! I hope you find it an interesting and enjoyable listen.
